For over two decades, the Dance and Music Academy (DMA) programming has continuously enriched the Chicagoland area. With a team of highly qualified staff, we pride ourselves on meeting each student at their unique level and acknowledging their individuality and full potential. Our belief in the power of art to create positive change is at the core of our teaching philosophy.

DMA provides opportunities unlike any other youth programming in the Chicagoland area. We are the proud home of youth dance companies that serve as a pre-professional compliment to three established professional dance companies based in Chicago. These youth companies provide our students with unprecedented collegiate-level performance opportunities while still in high school. Through our unique partnership with professional dance companies, students gain firsthand experience and exposure to the professional world of dance, participating in performances, workshops, and training sessions led by industry experts. This collaboration enhances students' technical skills, creativity, and professionalism, preparing them for successful futures in the performing arts.

DMA is honored to collaborate with the Glenbrook South Titans Poms program by housing the Jr Titans Poms teams. This exclusive training experience offers students in grades 1-8 the chance to train alongside the nationally acclaimed GBS JV and Varsity poms dancers, providing them with unparalleled performance opportunities affiliated with GBS, fostering a sense of unity and friendship among young dancers while providing a pathway for young dancers to see a future for themselves in any Chicagoland high school poms team.

We are thrilled to announce our newest collaboration with Phosphorescent Theatrical Productions. This new partnership brings several exciting programming options, including semi-professional theatre productions, exclusive auditions for a Chicago SAG-AFTRA talent agency, workshops with casting directors and vocal coaches from NYC, and on-camera seminars with a Chicago professional theatre company. These new offerings will equip our students with the necessary skills and training to audition for commercials, print work, TV, film, and the vibrant Chicago Professional Theatre scene, providing a well-rounded performing arts education.

The backbone of our curriculum remains rooted in technical mastery and artistic expression. The impact of our programming is evident in every young artist we mentor.
